Operational Excellence & Application Scenarios
Designed for rapid deployment and extreme reliability, our Combat Application Tourniquets (CAT) are critical life-saving devices for managing severe extremity hemorrhage.
-
Military & Tactical Operations: The windlass mechanism allows for true one-handed application, making it the standard for tactical self-aid and buddy care on the battlefield.
-
Pre-Hospital EMS: An indispensable, highly visible (e.g., orange variant) tool for ambulance and first responder units dealing with severe trauma and arterial bleeding.
-
Outdoor & Survival: Lightweight and compact enough to fit seamlessly into any individual first aid kit (IFAK) or outdoor survival gear setup.
-
Industrial First Aid Compliance: Simple application mechanics make it a necessary addition to workplace trauma stations and enterprise safety kits.
Rapid Application Instructions
-
Place the tourniquet 2-3 inches (5-250px) above the bleeding site and route the band around the limb.
-
Pull the self-adhering band tightly, fasten it securely back on itself, and twist the windlass rod until the arterial bleeding stops entirely.
-
Lock the windlass rod inside the fixation clip, route the excess band through, and secure everything with the locking strap.
-
Record the exact time of application on the designated white time strap.
